"stupid people defending their own kind"? minimum wage doesn't necessarily correlate with stupidity. I would argue that some of the more idiotic people I know have higher paying jobs and disgustingly monstrous egos to match, a trait which tends to make stupidity far more dangerous. so shut the f* up.

a better question is why someone would try to buy a copy from the university bookstore, when you can find free copies online (its a classic, so its openly accessible)... and if you wanted a paper copy of just about anything, the bookstore is one of the more expensive places you could go.

I think it's sad and shows how spoiled and rude some people in this world can be when they think minimum wage and stupidity correlate. Today, you'll be lucky to even find a job... degree or not. I graduated from UGA with a 3.8 after taking honor's classes. I still don't have a job that requires my four year degree. Even though I graduated from college, it still doesn't make me more intelligent than everyone without a degree, and it certainly doesn't make me a better person. Most people would be happy to have a minimum wage job right now. Besides, are you telling me you've never asked a stupid question? Sometimes it happens.

Seriously, the UGA Bookstore is a fucked up place - quite a few assholes work there and they are way overpriced.
