Just try to find a psychologist who will tell you that sexually deviant behavior (what promiscuity is considered) is NOT caused by deep-seated psychological issues, good luck.

Wow, it is pretty upsetting how nasty people can be when they are anonymous. 9, split infinitives are prescriptive grammar. It was jacked from Latin, where it is impossible to split an infinitive and native English speakers split them all the time. In fact, I dare you to go a day without splitting an infinitive. It tends to sound very stuffy and awkward to native speakers. On that note, stfu and gtfo, plzkthx bai.

As for the quote, I'd call a girl who slept with 12 guys a whore and a guy who slept with 12 girls a man whore. I understand liking sex and wanting to be experienced, but I'm with anon in thinking it's a special thing that shouldn't be just given away. You have two hands for more than one reason after all.

Besides, "like 12?" I wouldn't touch that with a 39 and a half foot pole.

Why is it a bad thing to have respect for your body? The way some girls on campus talk (ie. the forementioned quote), it's like a freaking trophy how many people they've slept with. It's shameful the way some girls act. Having sex with "like 12" people just tells me that if she ever does get married then she will have a lot of insecurities. Actually, it's because of my respect for women that I'm still a Virgin. Check the stat's, Christian, married couples that waited until they got married to have sex are the ones having the most satisfying and fulfilling sex lives. And why is it that religion always gets dragged into things? So, because I respect girls and believe in God that makes me less of a person? I thought people went to college to get smarter.

People usually sleep around b/c they have low self-esteem and think they have nothing more to offer than their body so must think its pretty disgusting & worthless if you don't make people work all that hard to get it.

Plus the "bible-thumper" is right according to National Science Institute and many other studies have shown sexual satisfaction is highly correlated to intimacy.

So "Truth" since intimacy is something that comes with time, you are not going to get that with whatever guy is unfortunate enough to drag your ugly ass home from Boars Head.

While I think virginity (and being single in general) should be used as a time of spiritual growth, Bible Thumper, you gotta realize that a lot of Christians are afraid to talk about sex - over a thousand years of sexual repression does that to a religion.

As for you, Truth, please stop reading Dawkins and go take some religion classes. Christianity is made up in the same sense that any philosophy is made up.
