The addition of "or two. I got to pee." suggests it was more than a beer (or two) and that he got drunk before the final. And yes, as a teacher, I find that pretty funny. And if you guys are saying that it's not uncommon for students to get drunk before their finals, I find that depressing.

Prof, it isn't really getting drunk before finals, but I have seen a student have a drink or two while studying, or maybe right before the test to calm down.
Some kids get really anxious, especially in certain classes. If you ever go to an O-chem study session,you will see what I mean.
