  • Girl: Really? That's great!
  • Guy: Yeah. It just puts me in a kinda weird position though, because, you know, I really like my cigarettes and I really like my beers. I mean, I don't want that to keep me from being what God wants me to be, but...
  • Girl: Yeah...

the Bible never says anything about cigarettes, and the only thing it says about alcohol is not to get drunk... so that doesn't have to "keep him from what God wants him to be"... that's just legalism.

and anyway, i think the idea is more along the lines of her needing to set a good example as a role model for her students, and not be hypocritical in that respect.
